We decided to stop and visit some of the sites in our nation's capital. We arrived in Washington D.C. at 2 am and got into our free (it wasn't really free but we paid for it with points we accumulated by signing up for a credit card) room at a Hyatt hotel. I was impressed by the office buildings from the view in our room so I got a lot of shots of the happening on the street. We close enough to Arlington to see the Marine monument of the flag raising on Iwo Jima right from our room.
The hotel staff thought Donny was great.
I wish I could say I made this gingerbread house but it was just a small part of the Christmas display they had in the hotel lobby. The display included a train and a replica gingerbread Hyatt hotel.
