We took a few shots around the little town of Sedgwick. It's a old rural town with a small town feel. I just love the walk down to the bridge less than a quarter mile from the house. The little bridge crosses a narrow strip of the bay. What a beautiful coast line and how drastically it changes from hour to hour. Amazes me every time I see it really. We are just around the corner from the Bay of Fundy which boasts the largest tidal changes in the world. At times there can be a difference of forty feet from high to low tide. The amount of water that flows beneath this bridge and swirls around the rocks is just fascinating.
The seagulls will fly down and pick up clams that were uncovered by the tidal flow and fly them up way above the rocks to before dropping them to smash on the rocks. Once their opened they'll fly down and gobble up the clam. Fascinating.
Then there's the snow and ice that will change the view so drastically it looks like a totally different world. I'm telling you've got to see the coast of Maine. Just breathtaking.
