So we attempted to get some family pictures, but as you can see we have a few issues to iron out first. We all got dressed a bit early for the Christmas cantata and went down the dirt road behind our house for some family pictures. We only had twenty minutes to get them done before we had to leave for church and daylight was quickly running out.
We are down this road often and never see anyone in the field behind us but on this particular evening, wouldn't you know, right then, two guys came up behind us on a four wheeler. Needless to say it was tough enough to get Donny to focus without having a four-wheeler to compete with.
I made a list of what we'll need to get this right. Tripod -- So we don't have to put the camera on the back of the car and have off-centered pictures. Wireless Remote -- So we can take pictures when we're good and ready. Time -- We need plenty of it to get the shots arranged. Light -- So we don't have to do this after the sun sets on a cloudy day. No Distractions -- So we can get Donny to look at the camera.

Donny's looking down the road at the four-wheeler. They came back to see if we needed something.
All that and we still managed to make it to the Christmas choir on time. Merry Christmas everybody!!!
