Christmas Creations

This week we've taken a little time to have some Christmas fun!
I don't ever remember talking to Carlie about slay rides but for some reason she has be obsessed with playing "slay ride" this week. She plays she is going on a slay ride all day long. When I asked where her slay ride was going she said, "To find the snow." Yesterday she found a gift bag and told me she needed it on her slay ride. I asked what the bag was for and she said, "To bring back some snow."

She invites Donny to join her all the time but his imagination is much weaker than hers and he keeps spoiling her fun.

I tried a new ornament recipe this year with corn starch, water, and baking soda and I really like how it turned out, easy to handle and very white.

Down at the park for a little fun on our warm mornings.

Here are a few of the ornaments.

This was Donny's foot print last year! So little!

Yesterday I made the cookie walls and roof. I didn't have ingredients for gingerbread so I made a vanilla house instead.

I tried using melted tootsie rolls for the glue to put the house together and it worked so well.

I couldn't decide it if looks more like a snow storm or a mud slide. But who cares, we had fun.
