One night Carlie was too wound up to sleep and about ten o clock John let her come out and sit with him on the couch for a little while.
Packages from Maine are always very exciting! Carlie saw a box waiting by the door when she woke up from her nap and picked it up saying, " I hold it 'til Daddy comes home."

Carlie was outside enjoying the cooler weather this weekend. When I found her on the porch and asked her what she was doing she said, "I watching the mushrooms grow."

Saturday night we went out to a little pizza shop in town called Boomerangs.
It was a rainy weekend but we enjoyed a short walk down by the water after supper between the rain showers.
Sunday afternoon Donny couldn't stop crying and take his nap. John ended up holding him and reading the Maine picture book until Donny finally fell asleep.
This week Carlie figured out how to open our childproof cupboard doors.
