Off To New Guinea

Well, the day finally arrived. The day we were praying for but dreading at the same time.
All the deputation and visa paper work finally all came to a conclusion and Tim and Becca
were ready to leave for Papua New Guinea. We spent a few hours together the day before they had
to fly out. Then on the morning of the day they had to leave Carlie, Donny, and I went over
to Lewis' to spend a few hours with them before they had to leave for the airport.
They were pretty much ready to go and busy trying to think of any last thing they might have
forgotten. All Paul's little cousins were over there to play. I don't think any of them
really understood what was happening, which was best.

Carlie inherited a sippy cup from Paul.

We got to have Becca ride with us to the airport, which was a special blessing.

 Getting the luggage checked in.

 Carlie and Auntie

 Already to go.
The cutest missionary ever.

 Kisses for Aunt Becca

We had a little time together before they had to go.

Elizabeth had just returned from Oregon the day before but came out to see them off, too.

Cordell had fun giving the other babies rides in the stroller.

Carlie thought the round tables were her little stage and Paul could
not let her steal the show.

 Tim and Paul

 Goodbye kisses for Uncle Tim.

 Paul and Paul

 Kisses from Grandpa.

Pastor and Mrs Woody were there to see them off, of course.

Donny would have been happy to go with them.

 Becca and Mom Lewis

 Kisses for Grandma.

 And off they go....

A prayer of protection as they go.

When we got back into the car without Becca
Carlie was saying, "Bec, Bec,Bec.." and
all the way home Carlie was asking for Paul.
I kept telling her over and over they had to go to New Guinea
until finally she said," Pau, Paul, Gina?"

It was a tough day so we played outside together until Daddy got home from work.

We love you, Uncle Tim, Auntie Becca, and Paul!
