2nd Birthday

Our little baby girl turned two and it was the perfect birthday for her with Auntie Pammy and Auntie Charity here to make the day so very special.

An early fire took the chill out of a frosty morning

Treats with Auntie

Carlie knew it was her special day and walked around singing
"Birfday, Birfday, Birfday."

Waiting patiently for the cell phone

We walked down to the park for a special picnic lunch.

Poor Donny is clearly thinking, "They have sandwiches and fruit and what do I get? Milk again!"

Jelly bean time with Auntie Pammy

When Carlie woke up from her nap she was so excited to see what Pam had done with
her birthday cake. It was so tragic for her when she was told she couldn't eat it right then
but had to wait until after Daddy came home.

But Auntie rushed in to make it all better with letting
her put sprinkles on the top of the cake.

In the evening, while waiting for the rest of the guest to arrive for supper
We went for a walk.

Pam and Tim walking the dirt road

Tortellini and fresh vegetables for supper.

Birthday supper

Carlie is always trying to keep Paul in line.
You can see she is pointing out how he is walking around
instead of eating his supper.

"Daddy do I have to? Can't I just have birthday cake"

Paul thought the evening events were far too dull and decided
to liven things up with pulling the coffee grounds out of the garbage
and spreading it all over the floor and himself.
It was great excitement with getting to use the vacuum and everything!

She had been wanting to wear her hat ever since we made it.
She appears not too happy with it but she really did want it on.

The birthday moment!

Her slice of cake

Paul didn't get his own slice of cake but was happy to walk around
the room and take bites from anyone willing to give him one.

Donny was pretty happy to stay up and watch her open gifts

A Bible for her first day of Sunday School.

Thank you everyone who made her day so special!
