Donny and I out visiting with John as he works on the shed.
We had a beautiful weekend and on Saturday afternoon I took the babies to the park.
Donny entertained himself by pulling up grass and watching it blow away.
John stayed at home to work on the shed siding.
And surprised us by riding over on his motor cycle to play for a little while.
Carlie enjoyed showing him all the fun things you can do at the park.
He hadn't been there with us before.
As always, Donny eventually tips over.

She was pretty good about sitting still and letting me cut her hair.
I only trimmed off the very fine infant hair because it was all frizzy.
Tonight Carlie wanted to find a recipe for supper
She pulled out the first one and handed it to me.
I said, "Candied pecans for supper?" and she smiled and nodded.
When Daddy arrived home she got to try on his "hat".
Reading is a big part of Carlie's life right now.
She reads stories, sings stories, wants us to read her stories, and tries to get Donny to read stories too.
