The week of Thanksgiving

John was able to finish up the roof last week and it looks great.
The shingles match the shingles on the house.
You can see he's just about finished with the ridge vent in this picture.

 He has a big
 helper.
 or not so big.

Friday night we went out with the young couple at church but it ended up just being
Tim, Becca, Paul, Pastor, Mrs Woody and us.

Don't you like Becca's hair, she put it back to her natural color
Sorry Carlie's being grumpy- this would have been a nice picture. :-)

 Supper at Tuscan Oven

Mr Paul bit a hole in his teether

Saturday John had to dig a trench two feet deep from the electrical box on the house to the shed
So he could have lights out there.

 Carlie wanted to help him

John had the idea of putting down the left over shingles under the dirt he was digging to help make clean up easier when we fill it back in.

 Carlie helped bring over shingles

 Watching Daddy dig

Here is the mote around the castle.

It was as long and difficult as it looks and the day was warm to make it harder.

 He tried replanting the sod.
We'll see if it survives the winter

Reading a book...or maybe just chewing on it.
