Here I am attempting some initial leveling just after clearing the trees out of the area.
Here's a level place to start from.

I'm working on digging a 12" x 12" footer.
There're a couple pictures of the finished footer. I rented a Jumping Jack from General Rental and packed the slab with it since I had dug out some trees while clearing a spot for the shed. I also put two pieces of rebar down in the footer that runs around the perimeter of the shed. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of either the Jumping Jack or the rebar.
The cement truck is coming in! Two of my brothers are helping me with my project. Many thanks to them for their much needed assistance.

Let the fun begin! It was a little too dry so Nathan had the driver mix some more water into the cement.

We didn't have quite enough concrete on the first truck to finsh the job. We had estimated six yards but we got another truck to bring us another yard and the cement was soon all in. We ended up with a total of seven yards to finish the job.
