And for all those who've been wondering, there is no pot of gold.
Thursday we went back to cleaning the church with Rachel and Carlie came prepared with water.
She was a pretty good girl and didn't get into as many things as I was concerned she might.
On Friday Becca phoned and wanted to know if we wanted to go to the river with she and Paul. It is a nice place not far from our house where you can swim and get some relief from all this intense heat. Of course it sounded like a wonderful idea. After about an hour of getting babies ready, which ended up including a bath for Paul. We were ready to go.
We have had all three car seats in both our cars before but finally decided to stop and take a picture because it looks so cute.
This one didn't take so well but you get the idea.
...from the other side.
Carlie making her way down to the water over the stoney sand.
Becca, Paul, and Carlie Jane.
They loved the water and got right in even though it was pretty cool and the day warm.
Becca being life guard.
We had to watch Paul closely because he was fearless
and kept crawling out into deep water.
Carlie Jane loved it but was happy to sit in one place and splash.
One time the paci fell out and started floating down stream. She was very anxious about that and called, "Dat! Dat!" pointing her little finger at the paci as it quickly was carried away. I ran out and rescued it just in time.
Paul liked the pebbles at the bottom of the river.
But he never put them in his mouth, just picked them up and looked at them and dropped them back into the water.
These are only a few of the pictures from that day.
My camera died and the rest are on Becca's camera.
I will try to get them from her soon and add them in here.
