Becca and Tim brought Carlie Jane up to meet her brother right after he was born.
It was very late and she was so tired and a little over whelmed.
Despite the late hour, Uncle Tim and Paul were still bright eyed and energetic.
Thank the Lord, we finally are home and together again. We were only in the hospital from Wednesday until Friday morning. Becca and Tim took such good care of Carlie Jane and us too, as they came by the house and made us welcome home signs and did a lot of freshening up.It was great to not have to worry about Carlie while we were in the hospital. They spoiled her and Auntie Becca when and got her some hair elastics and barrettes and put her hair up in pig tails for the first time when she came to see her brother Thursday morning. I couldn't believe how big she looked and with her little wisps of pig tails she looked even more grown up.
John Donald Bryan was born on Wednesday, July 9th at 7:26 P.M. He weighed 8 lbs 15.6 ounces, and was 21 inches long. He has dark blue eyes, and a little dark hair. We spent a day resting in the hospital and getting all the new born standard test done. The Lord helped everything to come back just fine and we were released from the hospital this morning. We are all so happy and thankful to back home together again. We really missed our little girl and she seems pretty happy to be back to her usual life.

After Tim and Becca left Carlie got out the broom and a scrub and started cleaning the kitchen.
She looked so cute. It was as though she really knew she needed to help out here and she started in on
some chores.
John and Carlie took a little afternoon nap this afternoon and I was even able to rest a little.
