Back to where it all began

Carlie Jane and John match.

Carlie loves to help take care of brother's things.

Our matching blue wrist bands.

Carlie loves her brother and helps take off his blankets and "burp" him when he's just fallen asleep.

Such a big help!

I am really enjoying this special pillow Sara gave us.

Tim and Becca ran a teen camp at Camp Koinonia last week. It is where John and I first met back in 2006. Though the camp is not far from our house we haven't been there since we've been married and we decided to go out and visit it while Tim and Becca were out there. The camp hadn't changed and it was fun to be back there and have it bring back so many memories. The picture above is Tim speaking in the chapel.

A few things have changed since we were last there.

The teen girls enjoy playing with Carlie Jane.

Becca and I chatting over our sleeping boys.

Carlie's special Uncle Tim.

Carlie Jane found a soccer ball in the fellowship hall and proudly carried all over.

Paul wanted to play too.

Beanbag baseball with the beanbags/ rice bags Becca and I made.

"I used to fit."

Getting ready to pour the foundation.

He has to make the ground completely level.

Carlie went backward and brought out the Jumper and wanted to get in it.

John had his first doctor appointment Tuesday. At two weeks he surprised the doctor with not only regaining his birth weight but gaining a pound and a half over, weighing 10.5 pounds and having grown a 1/4 of an inch. Carlie had an appointment at the same time and had two more vaccinations. She was a good girl too.
