Last week I was grilling some supper and Carlie wanted to help and have her apron on that matches mine.
She also thought she needed some tongs to help grill.
Had our 30 week OB appointment and Carlie was such a good girl and waited patiently.
Cooking supper and watering flowers is exhausting to a little girl.
Last Friday was John's day off from work and he decided to go fishing since Carlie and I were going to be helping out over at Pastor and Mrs. Harvey's house while they were away.
Carlie was very interested in seeing all John's fishing tackle.
She never figured out how to turn the handle right but she enjoyed trying.
My little roses have been blooming by the kitchen door.
I really enjoy them and they have grown so many blooms this spring I have had to cut some roses off so their stems wouldn't break.
Our two little gardens.
John and Carlie were matching on Thursday night.
She is wanting to get in the car and go for a ride.
Here are some pictures from John's fishing trip.
He'd have to fill you in on all the details of his adventure.
Saturday, John discovered we had some termites in the front porch post.
They are very destructive!
But John fixed it all up like new.
Carlie loves the fans.
Monday morning we stopped in to see Becca and Tim and Paul before they head North for a while to have some more meetings and finally end up in Maine for a visit. I was so excited for them! They haven't been home for over a year and I know they are so excited for everyone to meet Paul. Tim got Becca a piano for her birthday and it is beautiful. She was showing it to us and letting us play it. Carlie really enjoyed pushing the keys.
Isn't he so sweet!
The cutest missionary ever!
A piano duet. Can you tell what song they are playing?
Carlie and I helped out with Harvey's homeschooling while their parents were away. I was busy and didn't think I had any pictures of our week together but when I turned on the camera found the kids had taken pictures.
This is what we got.
After trimming the roses yesterday I gave one to Carlie to play with. First she tried to eat it but thinking it didn't feel right she decided on tearing off the peddles instead.
It's hard to get a picture of Carlie now since she knows about looking at pictures on the camera. When she sees I am taking a picture she walks toward me to see the camera screen.
