We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. Carlie tried a little turkey, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes. She was a happy girl most all the day. We talked with the family in Maine early in the morning and spent the day with all the family here. John's Aunt Pam and Uncle Jerry have a little farm about a half hour from our hour and we spent the day there. Grandpa Bryan had a candy hunt for the kids but we didn't find any for Carlie since she doesn't even have teeth yet she doesn't need to get into the habit of eating candy. Carlie took a little afternoon nap on my lap and when Joel built a big bone fire in the evening we went out to see it and she was so excited to watch the logs burning. It was a cool day, beginning was with a frosty morning. I just love the cooler weather and was so thankful it wasn't a warm Thanksgiving. We picked up pecans last week and have been spending our leisure time cracking them all. I really enjoy it though it is very time consuming. Enjoy a few pictures of Carlie Jane's first Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for as every year. God has so richly blessed our life!

Carlie loves playing with the pecans we picked last week.
She's crawling well know and standing up on every table and chair.
